Proverbs 11:22 “Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion.”

This has to be one of my favorite Proverbs…maybe because I was raised on a farm in central Illinois, and the visual picture of a sow with fancy jewelry on wallowing in the mud is hilarious. But beyond this funny picture is the sad reality of how a beautiful woman can look just as absurd when she leaves her good sense and sound judgement behind.

  1. Oh how often I have been the pig with the ring in the snout. LOL But here I am in my 50’s and I am finally, FINALLY learning to listen and do what God created me to do and be what He wants me to be. Love you girl
