I’ve been around farmers all my life, from being born and raised on a farm in Illinois, to being married to a man who was in agribusiness most of his life. Those that work the soil are a special breed…they are true stewards of “His land”, and take the responsibly seriously. This might be why the writer of this Proverb used a farmer to contrast with those who continually run after empty, worthless things. A farmer is disciplined, and realistic, with insight and wisdom to get the very best out of his land without depleting it in the process. While a daydreamer with visions of grandeur will always chase after that next big thing that’s forever just out of reach.
Great write-up, I am normal visitor of one’s website, maintain up the nice operate, and It is going to be a regular visitor for a lengthy time.
