Luke 12: 15 ” Then He said to them, ‘Watch out! Be on your guard; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.’ “

Jesus was warning us to be careful of  forsaking God in the pursuit of collecting wealth.  We don’t exist for the sake of hoarding riches…and we will never save ourselves by the amount of property we’ve amassed.  Our trust can never be in gold and riches. (Psalm 62:10)
