Have you ever waited for the sunrise? Maybe it was at the bedside of a loved one, or it might of been just you by yourself, alone with your fears and anxiety. The dark cold night seems to stretch on forever as you wait for the dawn. But something happens when those first few rays of light come over the horizon…your hope rises just like the sun…and that’s what you’ve been hanging on for…a new day, renewed hope, and God’s fresh compassion. But think about this, the sunrise pales in comparison to the glory of God’s presence, for within Him is the source of all light and energy and someday the sun will no more be your light by day…for the Lord will be your everlasting light. (Isaiah 60:19)
