Job 6:2-3 ” If only my anguish could be weighed and all my misery be placed on the scales! It would surely outweigh the sand of the seas…”

Job’s misery and grief mirrored Proverbs 27:3 that says, Sand is heavy, but no where near as burdensome as sorrow and affliction. When the crushing weight of loss, illness, or fear overwhelms us, it does feel like the sand on every seashore has been dumped on our chest… but that’s the time to roll the burden over onto Jesus’ more than capable shoulders for Him to bear it for us.
