The covenant we have with God is endless & indefinite…initially made between God & Abraham. It was confirmed by God & Moses and renewed and amended after the Exile. In Isaiah 42:6 we read that the Messiah would then come and make new this covenant…a covenant now of grace…ratified by the shed blood of Christ Jesus on the Cross. But all the while, at the very heart of this covenant remains God’s love for His people and a promise of redemption & eternal life for those who would believe in His Son, Jesus.
