Proverbs 4:25 ” Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you.”

Fear, anxiety, and stress will wrap up our eyes, not allowing us to see clearly. We will be looking, but not seeing, seeing but not perceiving correctly. And so instead, we will choose to turn a blind eye to the truth, rather than confronting the reality of the situation. But God sees all clearly, (Psalm 94:9) and we should be asking Him to open our eyes to illuminate His Truth so we might be guided by it. (Psalm 119:18) And we know that as we lift our eyes to Him, wisdom and understanding will overcome all our fears.
