Are you exhausted from loving a difficult person? Are you tired from carrying the responsibilities that God never meant nor assigned you to take on? The truth is, God never appointed us to be the one to change hearts…it’s always been His work not ours. For you see, we can be responsible to someone…but we cannot be responsible for them. The Apostle Paul and Apollos both knew their roles as servants of God. And they readily acknowledged that it was God’s power and Sovereignty that was the ultimate source of growth in any person’s life. So then what’s our part in planting and watering? We are to love well, pray without ceasing, keep the faith, and watch God do the transformation.
