When you need assurance, peace, and direction you can either look to the world, or look to God’s Word. You can either listen to social media and the world’s distortion of the truth, or seek out what God says. Psalm 33:4 tells us, “For the Word of the Lord is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness.” In other words, God is upright, faithful, righteous, just, and steadfast…and thus, these attributes characterize His Word also. So when you need assurance, peace, and direction…go to the Bible first, not the world. For in doing so you’ll find revelation, insight, and application for all those dark times.
