I Peter 3:8 ” Finally, all of you live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate, and humble…”

We are to encourage and build one another up…but sometimes, the only words we have are, “I love you, I’m praying for you, and I’m not going anywhere.” And that is enough. We may have never personally gone through a Cancer diagnosis or the loss of a spouse or child, but we can still be supportive and caring. For sometimes, just regularly checking in with that person, listening attentively, and offering comfort helps us to share in their suffering.
