In the utter vastness of the universe and against the awesome greatness of God’s power, man would seem to be a minute speck. But the Puritan preacher, Charles Spurgeon, put this profound question into perspective when he wrote, ” He knows your case as thoroughly as if you were the only creature He ever made, or the only saint He ever loved. Approach Him and be at peace.” So it can only be with awe and wonder that we can boldly approach the Throne of Grace… knowing that despite our fragile smallness, God is ever mindful of and cares deeply for each one of us.
