Romans 14:1 ” Accept him whose faith is weak without passing judgment on disputable matters.”

Romans 14:1 " Accept him whose faith is weak without passing judgment on disputable matters.".

Romans 14:1 ” Accept him whose faith is weak without passing judgment on disputable matters.”

Have consideration for the new Christian. Their belief in Jesus is brand new…their spiritual journey with Him just beginning. So when things arise…things that are questionable in conduct and controversial within the body of Believers, the Lord wants us not to judge…but rather, those who are spiritually strong should come along side and bear with the failings of the weak.( Romans 15:1) For only God can judge…only He can convict the conscience. And besides, you too were once a brand new baby Christian.

Luke 21:27 ” At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.”

Look up! Jesus is coming! Gaze up at the clouds, for His return will be riding those very clouds back here to earth. All majesty and power will fill the sky as He comes to rule and reign this planet. Look up at the clouds…Jesus is coming!

Jonah 2:8 ” Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.”

When we forsake the Lord and run after worldly things, we lose the right to all the mercy that is ours. Suddenly we’re by ourselves, with only the emptiness of the world to hold on to…grasping at nothingness like fog.

II Samuel 24:14 ” Let us fall into the hands of the Lord, for His mercy is great.”

The Lord’s compassion and love towards us is unfathomable. When we least deserve it, His forgiveness and tender love comes to our rescue…delivering us from the mess we’ve created for ourselves.

James 1:2 Consider it pure joy my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.”

The devil tempts us – God tests us…and out of this furnace of adversity we emerge purged and refined. And with every trial we face, we build a little more endurance, a little more patience…a little more purification.

II Corinthians 6:18 ” I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”

If I asked you to describe your father, what would you say? Would you use words such as loving, fun, and good-hearted? Or would you say, rigid, disciplinarian, and distant? If I asked you to tell me about your Dad…you may say – absent, either physically or mentally from the family unit. Regardless of how you regard your earthly father…your Heavenly Father will always be there for you…He will never leave or forsake you…He’s calling you His son or daughter today, and wants to be a part of your life forever.

Proverbs 24: 3-4 ” By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.”

For any house to stand – whether a family home or a government institution – it must be founded on sound judgment and good principles. Armed with wisdom, open communication, and awareness for each other, this house can then accomplish great things.

Romans 9: 31-32 ” …but Israel, who pursued a Law of righteousness, has not attained it. Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.”

We like to take the commandments from God and embellish them…piling on things that were never given in the first place. Then if we can only keep this long list of “don’t does”, we can somehow “work” our way to heaven. But this will never happen, and we will fail spiritually…our eyes on our works, and off of Jesus.

Jeremiah 5:14 ” I will make My Words in your mouth a fire and these people the wood it consumes.”

God’s Words are the very essence of Him. When we speak His Word, all of the Lord’s mighty power is released and goes forth to do His will in people’s lives. Today, speak out loud His Word…proclaiming what He has said…and watch the change it will make in the people and situations around you.
