Matthew 5:8 tells us that, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” In II Samuel 22:21 it says, “The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands He has rewarded me.” The bottom line is we can only serve one Master…it’s either God or self. But when we dedicate our life to God, consecrating our whole self -mind, body, and spirit to Him… we will be able to stand blameless before Him, spreading out clean hands in prayer, our conscience clear.

Philippians 3:8-9 ” What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ – the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.”
You may think you live a blameless and upright life, but it will never measure up before God. It’s not until you recognize that you can’t save yourself. No amount of right living and good deed doing will save your soul from hell. That’s because the only way to God is through Jesus…the only way to salvation is by believing that Jesus died for your sins…the only way to heaven is by uniting yourself with Jesus by faith. And this saving faith will never disappoint as you learn to trust in Him.
Psalm 84:11 “For the Lord God is a sun and shield, the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.”
You have found favor in the eyes of God. He will be your everlasting light, (Isaiah 60:19) and your shield, your very great reward. (Genesis 15:1) Walk before Him with all integrity, sincerity, and honesty and He will not hold back any good gift from you.
Colossians 2:12 ” …having been buried with Him in baptism and raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, Who raised Him from the dead.”
The act of water baptism is full of symbolism and meaning. For those watching, it’s a public declaration of the person’s inner decision. For the person being baptized, it’s a time of newness of soul and spirit. In Romans 6:4 it says, ” We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Therefore, within the action of water baptism, our old self dies, and our new self emerges out of the water.
I Corinthians 1:8 ” He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Many have tried to predict it. Across the centuries, they have prophesied His coming time and time again…all with the same results. No human being knows when the Day of the Lord will come…the day when Jesus returns to judge the earth. In I Thessalonians 5:2 it tells us that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night…suddenly and without warning. So it’s important that we be ready…innocent and faultless before Him.
