Isaiah 13: 11 ” I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.”

The day of the Lord is coming, and with it,  judgment.  The proud will be brought low, the cruel will be stopped in their tracks. The Lord’s fierce anger and wrath will not be held back from the unrighteous.  The day of the Lord is coming.

John 10:29 ” My Father, Who has given them to Me is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.”

God’s promise to Believers in this verse is not only one of protection and safe haven in the palm of His mighty hand, but  the wonderful promise of eternal life spent in heaven.  As Jesus stated in John 17:24, ” Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, and to see My glory…”

I John 2:15 ” Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

If our mind and will are rooted in the world’s way of thinking, we will be selfish, greedy, and full of violence.  The self-centered, narcissistic spirit of the world refuses to love in the selfless, generous way Jesus taught.  As it says in the book of  James 4:4, ” Friendship with the world is hatred towards God.”

Romans 8:32 ” He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all – how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? “

Christ Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice that God the Father gave to the World. He bestowed on us His favor and kindness where there should have been condemnation and punishment. God didn’t spare anything on our behalf….He compassionately gave all, then and now.

John 5:17 ” Jesus said to them, ‘ My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I, too, am working.’ “

We sometimes feel that the Lord has all but forgotten us and our problems. We ask,” Where are you God? Don’t you even care about me anymore?” But God the Father is relentlessly working on our behalf…all the time…in every situation and area of our lives.

John 5:17 ” Jesus said to them, ‘ My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I, too, am working.’ ”

God the Father, Creator of everything, is active, and at work this very moment in your life. Miracles…those amazing works of God, are still happening daily. Today, share how the Lord is working in your life…it will not only encourage someone else, but yourself also.
