Over the last years, the world’s moral pendulum has swung far off-center. What was once considered wrong, is now accepted as the norm. What was once thought as unethical, is now touted as chic. We are constantly being bombarded by commercials and advertisements that tell us how to think and act if we want to be accepted…but they are usually contrary to God’s Word. Psalm 94:21 tells us that the wicked will band together against the righteous. The evil world’s way of thinking doesn’t have to seep into your life and mind… for God is greater than any evil that may come your way…offering wisdom and happiness in place of misery and suffering.

Psalm 10:14 ” But You, O God, do see trouble and grief; You consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless.”
The Lord understands the misery and sorrow you may feel today. He wants to take that pain from you…placing it in His all-powerful hands and off your shoulders. If burdens are weighing you down today…entrust yourself to God’s mercy and fall upon His grace.

We humans are all the same…when something terrible happens, we feel compelled to blame someone, or something. We must accuse and hold responsible the person or thing that caused all our misery and suffering. But when there is no clear-cut culprit…we tend to blame God. When situations and circumstances are beyond our comprehension, we hold God liable for them. The insurance term for it is “Act of God” … and sometimes that’s what it is…an act of God we may never fully understand in this present life.
