Jeremiah 14:10 ” This is what the Lord says about this people: ‘They greatly love to wander; they do not restrain their feet. So the Lord does not accept them; He will now remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins.’ “

The Prophet Jeremiah’s message was primarily one of judgement upon Judah for their shameful and persistent sins.  They seemingly lacked the desire or even control to stop straying from God’s law.  The world today still wanders from God…aimlessly roaming, running after whatever has their attention…following a harmful path that can only lead to death and destruction.

Job 34:11 “He repays a man for what he has done; He brings upon him what his conduct deserves.”

In Jeremiah 17:10 it says, “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve.”  Not only will our actions and behaviors be judged…but what we think and have allowed our minds to be filled with will be judged also.  Foolishly believing all fanciful and provocative daydreams are secret, is proven wrong by this scripture…as is reasoning that how we silently judge others will never be found out is wrong too, for it will.

Psalm 53:1 ” The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ “

That’s probably one of the most dangerous statements anyone could say…”There is no God.”   To treat the Lord with such contempt is the pinnacle of human rebellion.  For people who think there is no God also have the false delusion that judgment for their wicked behavior will never occur  either.  Lord,  help them to see the error of their way before it’s too late.

Revelation 15: 14 ” I looked, an there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one ‘like a son of man’ with a crown of gold on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand.”

There is coming a great and mighty day when the Lord Jesus Christ returns to judge the Nations.  He will swing His sickle, for the harvest is ripe.  The Son of Man will return on the clouds…the reaper prepared for the harvest…the sickle in His hand.
