Make no mistake about it…as a Believer, the deep sense of well-being you feel today has been brought about by a loving and merciful Heavenly Father. II Thessalonians 3:16 ” Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.”
Romans 2:4 says that He is the “God of peace.” Do you need peace in your life today? Have the worries, anxieties, and troubles of the world crowded into your mind and caused unrest and turmoil? Why deny yourself of God’s kindness and mercy…why deny yourself of His peace?
Isaiah 54:10 ” ‘Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet My unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor My covenant of peace be removed,’ says the Lord , Who has compassion on you.”
With out warning, stressful and frightening things happen. We’re pushed along by the tidal wave of raw emotions…trying simply to survive the moment. But this verse wants us to know that regardless of the circumstances, God is still there…His kindness, and mercy will never abandon us.

The message of salvation brought about by God’s abundant mercy towards us is called the Gospel of Peace. And it’s peace that the Lord gives us. Peace in the midst of chaos…peace in the middle of turmoil and fear. The Lord is ever near us, His companionship and fellowship are always there, always waiting. Peace is yours today.
