Romans 16: 25 ” Now to Him who is able to establish you by my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ…”

When someone hears and accepts the Good News of the Kingdom of God and the gift of salvation through Jesus, they are transformed.  They are forever changed by the power of the Holy Spirit within, and established by God Himself eternally.  But this can’t  happen if they never hear the Gospel or the message of redemption…for that is our mission here on earth – to take the name of Jesus to the nations.

Hebrews 10:25 ” Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the day approaching.”

Even back in Biblical times people didn’t want to get up and go to Church!  But it’s  very important to meet together as a Body. Your Emotional/Spiritual gas tank  needs to be filled by the encouragement from other Believers . By gathering  as one, it allows us to worship and praise our God together… in order to take that renewed strength into the next week.

Hebrews 3:13 ” But exhort one another daily…”

There comes a time in a Believers life when we get lazy and apathetic about our Faith.  We start thinking, “I’m saved, and that’s all that matters…”  But the Lord doesn’t want us sitting back on our laurels, waiting to go to Heaven.  We are to spur, implore, and occasionally give each other a pep talk to keep us all involved in the Lord’s work .

Isaiah 43: 18 ” Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past…”

“How many times do we become preoccupied  with the past, lingering in the comfort and happiness of fond memories,  while the present passes us by?   When we’re focused on yesterday, we  can miss out on  ” God moments”  today…  those times  when the Lord places someone across our path in order to encourage, bless, or guide them.   But more importantly, when we’re focused on the past,  God can’t prepare us for the future.

John 17: 20-21 ” My prayer is not for them alone, I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.”

Jesus was praying for those who would believe in Him in the future through the words of His Disciples. This prayer, from the Upper Room, was one of the last that He prayed that night with them. Jesus was praying for the Believers to come…those who after listening and reading the Gospels would accept Jesus as their Savior. In other words – He prayed for you in mind that night.

Isaiah 25:1 ” O Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You and praise Your name, for in perfect faithfulness You have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.”

God has a plan for your life…it was created and prepared long before you were even born. He has a purpose for your life…designed and perfected before the earth was even formed. Within our Lord’s loving-kindness and favor towards you, He has planned it – so it will be, He has purposed it – so it will stand. (Isaiah 14:24)

Psalm 15:8 ” I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”

When the Lord is constantly and continually in my thoughts, that worldly junk can’t seep in and take over my mind. When God is foremost in my thought pattern, anxiety and fear can’t control my emotions. When I place the Lord always before me…He’ll be ahead of me, leading the way.

Acts 20: 24 ” … if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me.”

This should be the prayer and wish of every Believer – to complete the calling that God has given us. Yes, each one of us has been called into a Ministry of some sort. It may be small or large, private or public, modest or grand. But with the calling, comes the work of accomplishing it to the very best of our ability – with God’s help and guidance.

Proverbs 13: 21 ” Misfortune pursues the sinner, but prosperity is the reward of the righteous.”

Good luck – bad luck…the world looks at it like we have no control over what we get. But many times it’s the foolish and reckless decisions we make prior that decide that final outcome. Luck has nothing to do with it when it comes to living a Godly life full of wisdom, prudence, and self-control.

Jeremiah 50: 34 ” Yet their Redeemer is strong; the Lord Almighty is His name. He will vigorously defend their cause…”

God’s powerful hand is ever hovering over you to fiercely protect and contend on your behalf. There is none like His equal. He is your kinsman Redeemer…your Deliverer…the Lord Almighty is His name.
