Isaiah 45:19 ” I am the Lord, and there is no other. I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob’s descendants, ‘Seek Me in vain.’ I, the Lord, speak the truth; I declare what is right.”

The Lord makes it very plain in this verse…He will always be truthful, honest and fair with His people.  From the very beginning God has never hidden His word from us or lied about what He can do.  And when we call to Him it’s not some worthless action…for He will be there for us…today, tomorrow, and forever.  For He is the God of truth and will always treat His people with justice and equity.
