The Gospel Message of Salvation can be summed up in a nutshell…By Grace alone, through Faith alone, in Christ alone. And if someone tells you there is another way…they are wrong. The Apostle Paul expounds on this by setting forth in detail God’s free gift to humanity. Salvation is a completed action (Romans 8:24) with a present effect (I Corinthians 1:18 & II Corinthians 2:15) because it’s accomplished by God and sure to be consummated in all its fullness. (Romans 5:9-10) Thus Salvation by grace, through faith is a precious gift of God graciously given to sinners…with Acts 13:48 & Philippians 1:29 calling this Saving Faith. No amount of human initiative, effort, religious ritual, or moral achievement can contribute to earning this gift on our own…and again, if someone tells you otherwise…they are wrong. That’s because we are utterly dependent on God’s Divine Grace and Lovingkindness…which silences all human boasting. (Romans 3:19-27 & I Corinthians 1:26-31)
