John 7:16-17 ” Jesus answered, ‘My teaching is not My own. It comes from Him Who sent Me. If anyone chooses to do God’s Will, he will find out whether My teaching comes from God or whether I speak on My own.’ “

Jesus made it very clear the source of His message & teaching here on earth wasn’t His but originated from God the Father. He reiterated this many places with in New Testament that, “The words you hear are not My own; they belong to the Father Who sent Me.” (John 14:24) But then He challenged us as Believers, that if we truly want to do God’s Will, we must be in the Scriptures regularly so that we may know God’s good pleasure… and that Jesus’ words align perfectly with our heavenly Father’s.
