The name Immanuel means God with us. It means for the Believer that God is in the midst of us right now…a intimate & personal relationship filled with His promises to save, bless, and protect. So I need to ask, is Immanuel, God with us, with you today? Or are you out there trying to make it on your own? This promise of God with us first was written in Leviticus 26:11, then repeated throughout the Old Testament, followed by being quoted in II Corinthians 6:16, but will be brought full circle on that wonderful day in Revelation 21:3, “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God.’ ”
