Anything God has ever done, He can do now. Anything God has done anywhere, He can do here. And anything God has done for anyone, He can do for you. How is this so? It starts with the unchangeability of God. This is called Divine immutability, which James 1:17 explains as God’s inability to change…for it is the very essence of His character and behavior. So we have hope as Hebrews 6:17-18 tells us in God’s consistency of mind, heart, purpose, and conduct.
