I Samuel 16:7 ” For the Lord sees not as man sees…”

As Believers, we need to first acknowledge that God’s perspective is eternal, all-knowing, and perfectly aligned with His justice and love…while ours is limited by time, space, and finite in understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 exhorts us to trust in His perspective and not ours. But many times we turn back because we’re afraid to look at things from God’s point of view. This spiritual crisis in our life comes when God asks us to move in our faith farther than what we’ve already accepted. In other words, He asks us to stretch beyond what we’re comfortable with. But unless we align our trust with God’s higher view, we’ll never become our very best for His glory and our good.
