” We cannot love God without hating that which He hates.” Charles Spurgeon

It’s not that across the Bible God doesn’t make it crystal clear that which He hates. We see it in the Ten Commandments, in the Psalms, and in Proverbs for a few places. God hates lies and falsehood… adultery, stealing, and idolatry…haughty eyes, hands that shed innocent blood, and someone that sows discord among the brothers. So if it’s something unrighteous, it’s a pretty safe bet that God hates it…and we should too…for we can’t love the world and God at the same time… and we know the difference between right and wrong. So Romans 12:9 sums it up well. “Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.”
