When we look at our abilities vs God’s…we have to admit that our talents and skills pale before His infinite, eternal, and unshakeable power and knowledge. So why then are we constantly putting our will before His? It all has do with our pride, the need for a right and proper response on our part, and our obedience. Many places in Proverbs it warns us about how destructive our pride can be…bringing us low and destroying everything in its wake. So having the wisdom to make the right choice is key. But it doesn’t stop there, for we must then follow-through with obedience…confessing, not my will, but Yours, Lord.
