God doesn’t promise us a level, flat path of life. But He does promise that our footing will be sure as He steadies us in places we thought we couldn’t ever possibly stand. We all know that life is full of bumps and rough patches…but if we allow God to guide our feet, we won’t be tripping in the darkness. (Psalm 119:105) And when we listen carefully to Godly wisdom and obey, our path will become firm and stable as we single-mindedly adhere to His path of righteousness. (Proverbs 4:26 and Proverbs 15:19)
