Oswald Chambers goes on to write: ” The tiniest fragment of obedience on our part will cause heaven to open. All of God’s Truths are sealed until they are opened to us through obedience.” For Scripture tells us one simple truth, “To obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.” (I Samuel 15:22) That’s because, no amount of ritual performance, intellectualism, or Scriptural study will every replace plain old obedience.
