Think about this…the world is your ship, but not your home. Most of our life is composed of sailing through the uncharted and often dangerous waters of this uncertain world. We are often battered by the storms of life as we cling to the sides of our little dingy. But we know that God is faithful to still the raging winds and rain and lead us to our future haven of peace. (Psalm 107:23-32) We know this because Jesus told us in John 14:2-4 that God has already prepared our heavenly home for us. So we can then confidently sail on in our journey as aliens and strangers… until we reach home.
