Psalm 25:4-5 ” Show me Your ways, O Lord, teach me Your paths; guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long.”

The Puritan preacher, Charles Spurgeon, once penned, “I have a great need for Christ: I have a great Christ for my need.” And this passage seems to illustrate it beautifully. If we’re truthful with ourselves…”The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” (Psalm 111:10) And asking for divine guidance, instruction, and truth should be a daily thing as our heart seeks to be ever led by God in every aspect of our lives. For as we gain Godly wisdom, our life aligns with His principles, and more and more we can confidently place our trust and reliance in Him.
